The first China Postbiotics Technology Conference was successfully held in Qingdao

The first China Postnatal Metatechnology Conference was grandly held in Qingdao from August 25th to 27th. The conference was presided over by Li Shoulin, Deputy District Chief of Chengyang District People's Government. Zhao Jinshan, Vice President of Qingdao Agricultural University, Peng Chuantao, Chairman of Qingdao Yuanda Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Professor Zhang Heping, Director of the Key Laboratory of Dairy Biology and Engineering of Inner Mongolia Agricultural University, and Jiang Rongxian, First level Researcher of Qingdao Science and Technology Bureau and Secretary of Qingdao High tech Industry Promotion Center, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. Liu Xinmin, President of Qingdao Agricultural University, Professor of Zhejiang University, Vice Chairman of the Asian Lactic Acid Bacteria Society Alliance He Guoqing, and other government and university leaders, as well as representatives of various enterprises, attended the conference to jointly explore the path of promoting high-quality development of the health industry through the emergence of new talents.

Li Shoulin, Deputy District Mayor of Chengyang District People's Government, presided over the conference and warmly welcomed and thanked all the guests for their attendance and support. He then introduced the development of Chengyang District and our district in the food industry. Chengyang District has outstanding geographical advantages and a strong industrial foundation. In January 2020, Qingdao Agricultural University, Jiangnan University, Chengyang District People's Government and other five parties jointly established the Qingdao Special Food Research Institute, which accelerates the gathering of high-level talents and high-quality resources, and helps the rapid development of the food industry in Chengyang District. Finally, Mayor Li emphasized the importance of developing the emerging economy industry, stating that it is regarded as an excellent health effect factor and will become a powerful lever to leverage the big health industry in the future. 

Zhao Jinshan, Vice President of Qingdao Agricultural University, introduced Qingdao Agricultural University and its new breakthroughs in fields such as food science. Principal Zhao stated that we will closely focus on the development of the emerging economy and the big health industry, jointly exchange new technologies and achievements in the field of emerging economy research, and discuss new directions and paths for emerging economy to promote high-quality development of the big health industry. This has taken a solid step in promoting the integration of industry, academia, and research, and facilitating the transformation of achievements.

As one of the initiators, Peng Chuantao, the chairman of Qingdao Yuanda Biotechnology Co., Ltd., shared his experience of forming a relationship with the young Yuanda and his original intention of establishing Yuanda Biotechnology: to promote the good raw materials of the young Yuanda and benefit more people! In addition, the advantages of emerging elements and their important role in the big health industry were also introduced. In 2021, the International Scientific Association for Probiotics and Prebiotics (ISAPP) released a consensus statement on epigenetics globally, which for the first time clarified the definition and scope of epigenetics: epigenetics is a preparation of non living microorganisms and/or their components that are beneficial to host health, containing multiple active ingredients that are beneficial to the body, and is an excellent health effector factor. Postbiotics can be used in various industries such as food, health products, cosmetics, feed, and plant nutrition, and have broad market application potential. But at the same time, as an emerging functional raw material, post emergence requires joint exploration and planning by the scientific research community, industry, and even policy makers, as well as deepening integration and cooperation among various elements such as government, industry, academia, research, and finance.

Professor Zhang Heping, Director of the Key Laboratory of Dairy Biology and Engineering of the Ministry of Education, expressed his gratitude to the old friends of Chengyang District Government and Qingdao Agricultural University for their warm reception, and also warmly welcomed friends from all walks of life who came from afar. Professor Zhang Heping emphasized the background of holding this Postbiotics Technology Conference. In view of the continuous deepening of research and understanding of Postbiotics, as well as the huge market potential for its industrial application, Professor Zhang Heping, Academician Chen Wei of Jiangnan University, Vice President Zhao Jinshan of Qingdao Agricultural University, Chairman Peng Chuantao of Qingdao Yuanda Biotechnology Co., Ltd., President Liu Xiaojun of Beijing Ketao Hengtong Biotechnology Co., Ltd., and General Manager Liu Weiquan of China Resources Jiangzhong Pharmaceutical Group, as initiators, decided to launch the first China Postbiotics Technology Conference. Technology Conference, Jointly explore the issues of epigenetic research and industrialization development.

The importance of the food industry to the development layout of Qingdao was introduced, which is an important pillar industry to promote the healthy development of Qingdao's economy. At the same time, we hope to use this conference as a bridge to jointly open a new chapter in the strategic development of a healthy China and create a beautiful future for the high-quality development of emerging industries!

After the speech at the conference, Li Shoulin, Deputy District Chief of Chengyang District People's Government, announced the establishment of the Postnatal Yuan Industry Community. Qingdao Agricultural University and Inner Mongolia Agricultural University jointly established the China Postnatal Yuan Industry Community with 22 industry leading enterprises such as Ketuo Biology, Yuanda Biology, and Jiangzhong Pharmaceutical, and established the Postnatal Yuan Industry Community Expert Committee. The establishment of the community plays a positive role in promoting the research and industrial application of emerging elements, and promoting the integrated development between the supply and demand sides of emerging elements.

At the same time of the conference, 6 new raw materials and 2 new products were released, presided over by Professor Li Zhaojie from Qingdao Agricultural University. 6 types of epigenetic raw materials include Probio Eco, a epigenetic material developed by Beijing Ketao Hengtong Biotechnology Co., Ltd. for oral health ®， The posterior element Pbio-169TM, which can effectively improve vaginitis, and the posterior element Pbio-99TM, which can eliminate bad breath; Bilantera, YDDFF3, and Health-P6, skincare derived elements developed by Qingdao Yuanda Biotechnology Co., Ltd; In addition to raw materials, the conference also released two types of epigenetic products, namely Lihuo Lactobacillus tablets from China Resources Jiangzhong Pharmaceutical Group and Aiyidian epigenetic facial mask from Qingdao Yuanda Biological Biotechnology Co., Ltd.

The conference held nearly 20 high-level academic presentations, inviting nearly 20 experts including Professor He Guoqing, Professor Zhang Heping, Vice Dean Yao Su of the China Food Fermentation Industry Research Institute, Director of the Sports System Injury Repair Research Center at Xiangya Hospital of Central South University, Professor Xie Hui, a national outstanding youth, a "Minjiang Scholar" specially appointed professor at Xiamen University's School of Life Sciences, Professor Mao Kairui, an overseas outstanding youth, Dean Lan Canhui of the Enthusiastic Intestine Research Institute, and Director Peng Chuantao of the Qingdao Agricultural University Postbiotics Laboratory to give wonderful presentations on the basic research and industrial applications of Postbiotics.
